The Shadow Warrior summary:
(from mangapedia.jp): A manga adaptation of the Chinese martial arts novel "Children's Story of Heroes". The story follows the journey of 13 younger sisters, a swordswoman trying to regain her lost memories, and An Dao, a boy trying to save his father who is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, as they battle villains and monsters in one or more complete chapters. It was serialized in "Monthly Comic Tom Plus" from May 1998 to July 1999. While wandering in the wilderness after losing her memory, an old hermit gives the young woman the Sword of the Dragon and Phoenix. Having obtained the weapon, but having no food or clothing, she sets out for an old temple on top of a sheer rocky mountain in search of the weapon. However, the rocky hill is inhabited by demons, which attack the 13th sister. The thirteen sisters proceeded onward, defeating the demons, and finally arrived at a desolate temple. The temple was occupied by a wild thief, the red-faced Tiger Black Wind King. Moreover, a boy's life is about to be taken. Thirteen sister swings her sword to save the boy, Anduke. Ansteady escapes, but without a word of thanks for the sudden appearance of the thirteen younger sisters, he runs away from the temple alone. However, the unarmed An-Tei was easy prey for the bandits, who once again tried to steal his belongings. Thirteen younger sisters follow the thief and kill him, convincing him that the defenseless An-Tei needs a bodyguard.
