Decades ago, mysterious dungeons suddenly appeared in Japan. Monsters poured out, plunging the world into chaos. But thanks to international countermeasures, the threat gradually diminished. What was once called a fantasy world became an everyday reality for those living in the present. Joji Makise is one such person, exhausted from dealing with an unreasonable boss and endless overtime.
