When Shizuki Aoi started high school, he had high hopes of finding a lifelong friend in Kanata Takemiya, his fellow first-year student. Currently, he lives alone in a tiny Tokyo apartment, barely venturing out due to his struggles with depression and heartbreak. Meanwhile, in the Kanagawa prefecture, Tsumugi Sakura's striking violet hair and moody demeanor make her stand out from her classmates. She is the target of constant bullying, and only the charming Subaru Minazuki comes to her aid - although she hardly appreciates his intervention.
