Is It Wrong to Believe Happiness Can Start with a Political Marriage? summary:

To take on another’s misfortune and share one’s own happiness— the daughters of the Edelstein family are born with such a special power. For generations, the heads of the family have expanded their influence by marrying these daughters into powerful noble houses. The nobles desire only the daughters’ abilities. Love has no place in these unions; they are purely marriages of political convenience. However, Kshel, born into the Edelstein family, possessed no such power. As a result, she was scorned and abused, derisively called a “pebble.” When Kshel is married off to the up-and-coming noble house of Baron Ertz, she prepares herself for the worst—fully expecting that once her lack of power is discovered, her husband will be disappointed… perhaps even kill her. Yet Jeremias, the man who becomes her husband, never mentions her lack of ability at all, and instead welcomes Kshel with genuine warmth and kindness—
