Fairy Tail Gaiden contains three separate volumes chronicling the thrilling escapades of various characters. One volume is dedicated to Sting and Rogue, another focuses on Gajeel and Levy, and the final one recounts the adventures of Laxus and the Thunder Tribe. In Kengami no Souryuu, Sting grapples with the responsibilities of being the guild master of Sabertooth. With Rogue by his side, they face numerous challenges such as a guild member kidnapping and a rogue mage attempting to steal their dragon slayer abilities. Together, they must fight to protect their family in the guild. Road Knight sees Gajeel under suspicion for helping a criminal named Mash escape from a maximum-security prison. Levy sets out to find Gajeel and discover the truth behind his sudden disappearance. Along the way, she uncovers a dark conspiracy connected to Gajeel's past. Raigo Issen tells the tale of Laxus and the Thunder Tribe after the disbandment of their former guild. Seeking a new home, they join Blue Pegasus, but the environment is markedly different from what they are used to. When Ichiya is kidnapped by the rival guild Red Princess, Laxus and his friends embark on a dangerous mission to rescue him.
